Police say a Michigan man got the ride of a lifetime after his wheelchair became lodged in the grille of a semi-truck and was pushed down a highway.

The mayor of New Orleans has suspended his plan to repopulate the city in stages. He says it's partly because of the potential threat from a new tropical storm heading toward the Gulf of Mexico.
