The Wolfforth police department has released the incident report regarding an alleged domestic violence incident involving Texas Tech's former defensive coordinator, James Willis.

According to the report, police were called to the Willis residence, early in the morning on December 22nd, in reference to a domestic assault. When police arrived at the home, the officer spoke with a neighbor, who said that Shalane Willis had been banging on their door asking for help.

That's when he called 9-1-1.

Shalane told police that she and her husband, James Willis, had been arguing. She said that James slapped her first, hit her in the nose, and threw her on the bed.  Shalane said that James walked out of the room and she ran out the front door to the neighbors' house. She said that James left the house in his vehicle.

The report states that Shalane's nose was swollen and she had blood on her chin and shirt.

Shalane Willis declined medical treatment.

Wolfforth Chief of Police Rick Scott says he has presented the case to the Lubbock County District Attorney.
