The "Cirque Italia" is in Lubbock this weekend. Demand was so great Thursday, it has added extra shows.

It's a paranormal circus in the parking lot at the South Plains Mall. It's presented as a one-of-a-kind show in the United States.

The "dark castle" is a black-and-red big-top tent, with a haunted house part you have to get through to see the show.

Performers say it's just as much fun for them as it is for the audience.

"With the COVID and everything, it has definitely made performing more difficult and there's certain things we can't do anymore because of it," said actor Adrian Howe. "But, you know, we're making do with what we can do and it's it's nice to be back. It's really nice to be back."

This one isn't for the kids. It's billed as creepy and exciting, so 13 years and older only.
