Lubbock Police are searching for the men who shot and wounded a homeowner near 11th Street and Salem Monday night.

Investigators report four men were trying to steal from cars on the block when one of the residents heard them. He grabbed two guns and went outside.

The homeowner told police he fired a warning shot into the air, then saw two men jump into a car and fire back at him before speeding off. They exchanged several shots, before one of them hit the victim. He is recovering in the hospital.

The attackers are wanted for aggravated assault. No information has been released on them.
