St. Clair and Massey Orthodontics gifts Thanksgiving meals to Lubbock ISD families

Thanksgiving came early for some Lubbock ISD families Friday.

St. Clair and Massey Orthodontics gifted Thanksgiving meals to families at Guadalupe, Jackson ad Wright Elementary Schools, as part of its "Living Thankfully" program.

This is the sixth year St. Clair and Massey have provided meals to the district's families.

"Many people have meals at school but they don't even have meals at home," Dr. James St. Clair said. "So, we knew that there was a need. We know that the food drive that comes up from Thanksgiving to Christmas serves a lot of people during the Christmas holiday, but there's not much going on before the Thanksgiving holiday. We just want to love on people and help people flourish."

Because of COVID-19 this year, St. Clair and Massey Orthodontics partnered with the South Plains Food Bank to host a virtual drive to collect donations and corporate sponsorships to purchase the meals.
