Lubbock Christian University's Samuel Wing was named to the All-South Central Region First Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following the conclusion of the outdoor track & field regular season.

Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, with Wing earning recognition for his performance in the 400-meter hurdles. The Ralls, Texas native posted a season-best time of 52.71s (wind-adjusted) at the Texas Tech Open on April 23. It was the fastest time run by any Lone Star Conference competitor this season.

Wing ran a slightly slower time of 53.30s in the finals of the LSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, but his pace was still good enough to claim the individual title in the event. He was the only individual champion for Lubbock Christian this season.
