The heat is not stopping some for a game of tennis.

Around 30 children and adults participated in the 7th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters tennis tournament.

The non-profit offers one-on-one mentoring to children who need a positive role model.

Selena Mendoza, with the organization, said "And it's just a great way for everyone to just get out here in the summer heat. Big Brothers, Big Sisters is a great agency to kinda give back to those kids who really need help and mentoring."

The group is always looking for big adults who can share some time with a little.  The tournament continues Sunday.
