Some major remnants of the Reagor-Dykes Auto Group will be auctioned off Saturday.
It has been seized as part of Ford Motor Credit's collateral, as it includes assets from seven dealership locations across West Texas.
Ford Motor Credit has commissioned Jerry King and his auction company to liquidate these assets, as they have experience liquidating dealerships since 2007.
Specifically though, King said this one may be the biggest.
"Well you'll never see this much stuff gathered in one location from one proceeding, and this is from the seven locations that were involved with Reagor-Dykes," King said.
With the items ranging from branded memorabilia to standard parts and equipment, King said this will be a one-stop shop auction.
"They may want to buy this for their shop, or they may want to buy bumpers to sell to their people who buy new a new truck from them. So it's a full menu. It's a smorgasbord. They've got something to fit whatever your appetite is," King said.
King said he believes the 850 items on that menu will take about six or seven hours to sell.
While this may be four months in the making, he said this could be something Lubbock never forgets.
"This one will be quite a day. This will be something, hopefully, that everybody in Lubbock remembers for a while," King said.
The live auction starts Saturday at 10 a.m., but the bidding war online has already begun. Here is the link.
