The South Plains Air Show at the Slaton Municipal Airport is June 15 at 9:00 a.m. featuring World War II Warbirds from around Texas, a glider with a jet engine on it, and a custom built YAK110.
 
Veteran pilots will be performing aerobatic routines in unique planes. The proceeds benefit the Texas Air Museum to help restore, preserve and share the history of military aviation. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 and under.
