Man takes plea deal for manslaughter in 2016 shooting death of his cousin
A man responsible for the fatal shooting of his cousin in 2016 accepted a plea deal for manslaughter Wednesday.
Quaylon Jamar Williams will serve 20 years in state prison as part of the terms of the agreement.
In Jan. 2016, police found 18-year-old Devin Holland's body at a home near 66th and Sherman.
Williams and Holland were struggling over control of a gun. Holland lost his footing and fell to the floor. According to a witness Williams stood over him, shooting him once or twice.
Williams was indicted and originally charged with murder in Dec. 2016.
